Sundays may cause an excess of black bile, μελαγχολία, and I suppose I'll have to do something to correct this weekly occurrence. Causes include anything relating to Donnie Darko, receiving the eucharist, holidays that fall on mondays, unrequited love, unfulfilling music, the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, uncertainty about others intentions and certain blankets, the way dirty dishes look in the morning, mirrors, regret, any previous evening, and every article of clothing I own.

The release of black bile occurs in the presence of fine art. Was Pygmalion cursed or blessed? Galatea certainly offered something worthwhile. So it is true, I believe, the I was meant to be an aesthete. Why couldn't I just be phlegmatic? And why, oh, why do I listen to songs on repeat.

I think about mediocrity most of the time. I think about you, and I think about mediocrity. Then you, then my black bile increases and so it goes. Let's forget about it all. I'm running out of time. I know I am the only one who truly understands the severity of my time issue. And how haunted I am by my fish dreams. Who dreams about fish more often than I do? I wish something could be done about this curse. What I need is power. Power over my own dreams. Power over the cupiditas of others. Or, actually, maybe power over my own desire would be more beneficial.

It's like walking into gray air that's being penetrated by the harshness of bare oak trees, slightly misty and moderately warm, so as to suggest an English cemetery just around the corner. Cracked sidewalks, still houses, empty promises that act as a feast ever-digested in an empty stomach: is that how we think best?

Lay yourself to rest, carpe diem. There will come a day.

I know it is typical of me, and it has become something of a standard for this livejournal; I'm going to do what is expected of me and I'm going to address that enigmatic 2nd person singular pronoun.

YOU are all I want. I fell asleep craving YOUR body last night. YOU were there next to me and I could feel the side of YOUR torso and I could hear the tiny noise YOU make on those rare occassions when YOU kiss me. I could pull YOU into me and I could kiss YOUR neck, but YOU are gone. I love YOU, I love YOU, I love YOU. Test me please. Give me an opportunity to show YOU what I'll do for YOU, because there are no limits... because I have made YOU perfect, oculi viridanti mei.

November will never have a place in my life. And the opposite is also true.

Next: March 31

I suppose that's really all there is to say.

"The centre of gravity of terrorism has shifted from al-Qaeda to [the] Taleban," Pakistan's President Pervez Musharraf told European parliamentarians in Brussels.

He said a reinvigorated Taleban was particularly dangerous as, unlike al-Qaeda, it had its roots in the Afghan people.

"What is the significance of Aug. 22? This year, Aug. 22 corresponds, in the Islamic calendar, to the 27th day of the month of Rajab of the year 1427. This, by tradition, is the night when many Muslims commemorate the night flight of the prophet Muhammad on the winged horse Buraq, first to "the farthest mosque," usually identified with Jerusalem, and then to heaven and back (c.f., Koran XVII.1). This might well be deemed an appropriate date for the apocalyptic ending of Israel and if necessary of the world. It is far from certain that Mr. Ahmadinejad plans any such cataclysmic events precisely for Aug. 22. But it would be wise to bear the possibility in mind." -Dr. Bernard Lewis, Princeton University

"I am decisively announcing to the whole world that if the world-devourers [i.e., the infidel powers] wish to stand against our religion, we will stand against their whole world and will not cease until the annihilation of all them. Either we all become free, or we will go to the greater freedom which is martyrdom. Either we shake one another's hands in joy at the victory of Islam in the world, or all of us will turn to eternal life and martyrdom. In both cases, victory and success are ours." -A passage from the Ayatollah Khomeini, quoted in an 11th-grade Iranian schoolbook

RECENT INDICATORS:

Terrorists have stated that before a major attack (potentially nuclear), they wish to perform smaller attacks prior, according to World Net Daily. The planned downing of ten airliners bound for the U.S. was planned for today, August, 16, 2006. In addition, 3 men were found recently with about 1,000 cell phones which, it appears, they planned to use on the Makinac Bridge in Michigan. A woman recently was found with liquids, a screwdriver, and al-Qaida literature on a flight heading to America.

Ahmadinejad sent a letter to President Bush back in May inviting the United States to turn Muslim. According to Islamic law, before the enemy is to be attacked, they must first be invited to Islam. If they do not take up that offer, they can be attacked. In a recent interview on CBS, Ahmadinijad said that President Bush, by not responding favorably to the invitation to become Muslim was leading President Bush and others who refuse such an "invitation" to convert "will not have a good ending or fate."

According to WorldNetDaily, a planned terrorist nuclear attack on America is set to happen after America attacks Iran's nuclear facilities. According to a journalist who interviewed bin-Laden recently, it is likely that small nuclear bombs are already in American cities. However, the timing of a major nuclear attack on America occurring after an attack on Iranian nuclear facilities contradicts al-Qaida's plan and Iranian threats to preempt the world with a major attack.

The recent war involving Hezbollah and Israel. It is well know that Hezbollah is Iran's arm extended into Lebanon. They are provided with many of their advanced missiles from Iran. It makes sense that Hezbollah's orders in general come from Iran, their financier and arms supplier. Therefore, the order for Hezbollah to engage Israel in war almost certainly emanated from Iran. If Iran were at such a disadvantage to the rest of the world now, why are they so heated to try and drag the world, including the United States, Europe, and Israel, into war against it?

Everything here may fit together, the planned terror attacks during the same time period, Iran's "invitation" to America, Ahmadinejad warning of a bad "fate" for America, and the August 22, 2006 date.

"According to Islamic tradition, Muhammad was carried on a Buraq, a miraculous horse with a human head, from Mecca to Jerusalem, where he ascended into heaven and met the other prophets. And now, according to Ghadry, Ahmadinejad is planning an illumination of the night sky over Jerusalem to rival the one that greeted the Prophet of Islam on his journey. What the Iranian President, he says, is “promising the world by August 22 is the light in the sky over the Aqsa Mosque that took place the night before. That is his answer to the package of incentives the international community offered Iran on June 6.”"

I'm having a large supper this evening.

Still...

brandon mazur: see, they exist. youre just stupid

brandon mazur: The narwhal-unicorn connection was probably the best and longest kept secret of all time and, perhaps, one of history's most cunning marketing strategies. It was a trade carried on in utter secrecy; the middlemen, most often Vikings and Arabs, made millions and kept quiet. They were able to preserve their lucrative secret for more than 400 years because the narwhal seldom swam south.

Proof that God is proactively working against me:

HaudScioAn (12:34:02 PM): have you ever heard of a narwhal?

GoldyG9624 (12:42:00 PM): when i was interested in studying aquatic mammals as a young girl i discovered the narwhal and believe me, it was one of the pivotal moments of my life

GoldyG9624 (12:43:10 PM): narwhal [sic] connect the dots

GoldyG9624 (12:45:35 PM): haha, you should be a unicorn, i'll be a narwhal, and we'll battle with our respective horns

GoldyG9624 (12:36:25 PM): why are you suddenly concerned with narwals?

Fuck the bullshit.
